Continuing Education for REALTORS
We currently offer five
courses approved for continuing education credit
by the Minnesota Department of Commerce. These are
hands-on computer classes that are limited in size to 12-15 students
in order to maximize personal attention.
With everyone learning a
new MLS system, early registration is a must!
Note: The full cost of
the class is charged for cancellations received with less than 24 hours
notice.

location in southeast Minnesota are welcome to register by contacting the

Classes in Rochester are
held at the
Southeast Minnesota Association of Realtors Building, 3400 E River Rd NE.
East River Rd is just west of Highway 63 at the intersection of 37th St NW

FlexMLS –
The Basics -
This
course covers general navigation of the system Menu and Dashboard. How to
add photos, virtual tours, Open Houses; manage Daily Functions: Hotsheet,
Member Lookup. How to use the various Searching Options: Address Search,
List Number Search, Quick Search, Map Search and Full Search. Saving
Searches. Learn how to read the Search Results Screen, the Grid Tab, and
explore all the tabs: Map Tab, Detail Tab, Media Tab, Compare Tab, and the
Discuss Tab. My Listings, My Market Statistics, filling a Listing Cart.
3.5 hours credit (Cost: $30)
Flex Plus
– Prospect Management and More -
This
course covers Contact Management – setting up customers and
clients, auto emails, saving listings in carts, uses for saved searches,
emailing listings, statistics (My Market), Inventory and Production
Reports, Market Trends, Custom Hotsheets and other Reports. Reverse
Prospecting. 3.5 hours credit (Cost: $30)
FlexMLS
CMA -
This
course covers performing a CMA from start to finish: Finding Comparables,
the CMA cover page, defining the subject property, using the Comparables
tab, making adjustments, the recommendation report, saving, printing and
emailing reports. 2.0 hours credit (Cost: $20)
Email A-Z 2008
- a full 7 hours learning all about email, and students send email to each
other during the class. We use Microsoft Outlook Express as our email
program, which comes with Windows. We also teach more advanced
email functions - how to truly "manage" your email and let it work for
you. 7.0 hours credit (Cost: $42)
Basic MLS System Tools
- This course is intended to provide new agents with an effective
hands-on overview of using MLS computer tools. The course will cover in
depth how to effectively search for properties, as well as proper system
configuration. 4.0 hours credit (Class intended for new agents
only.)
