Southeast Minnesota Technology, LLC has been in business for over 7 years, originally under the name TechnologyForRealtors.com.  We are the leading provider of Virtual and Video Tours in Southeast Minnesota as well as a leading provider of domain name services, websites, POP email and many other products and services.

Southeast Minnesota Technology is owned by Ken McCasland.  Ken has held a real estate license since 1991 and has continually maintained his membership as a REALTOR.  Ken actively sold real estate in the early 90's, then worked for Technology Concepts selling the Ultrex MLS system across the country for a number of years.  He has provided hands-on computer training for the Association of REALTORS for over 12 years.  In 2000 he started TechnologyForRealtors.com. Virtual tours were basically unheard of when we introduced them to Southeast Minnesota.  Since then we have done thousands of virtual tours and have always been the local authorized REALTOR.com provider.  Web sites were just starting to play a role in real estate and we partnered to do agent and broker sites.  The real change came with Broker Reciprocity and we were the first out of the gate with that, too.  Web sites and IDX solutions have advanced significantly, and are a major part of our business.  In 2005 we introduced our Spotlight Video Tours that include music and narration (which we write).  In 2006 we started doing High Definition ZOOM tours that allow viewers to ZOOM in and see fine detail. We round out our offerings with computer setup and maintenance (not repair), still photography, brochures, web documents, domains, listing entry, and more. We serve REALTORS exclusively and are an Affiliate Member of the Southeast Minnesota Association of REALTORS.  We love seeing agents at the annual Affiliates Fair so we can show off our latest technology, plus we always sponsor a hole at the annual Golf Tournament.

In 2002, Ken hired Scott Elder as Office Manager.  The company then built a new office to accommodate our growth and in 2005 hired Jennifer Elder (Ken's daughter), who manages the filming of virtual and video tours.  We also have two additional professional photographers as members of our staff.

As technology becomes more and more an integral part of real estate marketing, we will expand and improve our offerings to the industry.  We will always put service, quality, and value as our highest priorities.
